How many flowers can I expect to find in a punnet?

The number of flowers in each punnet will differ depending on the flower size.

How do I store my produce?

Edible Flowers will last 5-6 days when stored correctly in the fridge. You can read more about storing edible flowers here.

What is the shelf life? 

This largely depends upon what you order. Products such as Samphire and Tomatoes can last anywhere between 3-5 weeks. We usually give around 5-7 days for our Micro Leaf and Edible flowers. Smaller and more delicate flowers like borage will not keep as well as larger more robust flowers. We would suggest using them as fresh as possible. Our delivery is next day Tuesday through to Friday. If you are wanting Edible Flowers for a cake, we recommend ordering the one or two days before. Remember that these are fresh flowers that are out of the water so they will not last indefinitely.

When should I order to get my produce in time for the weekend?

Order before 11 am on a Wednesday to ensure your order is delivered before the weekend.

Can I choose the colours?

We can’t guarantee as it will depend on the current availability, however, if you follow up your order with an email to hello@westlandsuk.co.uk we will try our best to accommodate.

How do I change or edit and order?

Please call 0138641436 or email hello@westlandsuk.co.uk as soon as possible to avoid any disappointment.

When should I order my flowers?

We advise ordering as closest to the date as possible. We deliver next day Monday-Thursday if ordered before 11 am.

What are your delivery times?

All orders placed before 11 am Monday – Thursday will be delivered the next day. Any orders after that will be processed Monday. We use DPD who will allocate an hour timeslot when you should expect your order. They also recommend downloading their app which allows you to track your driver.

Can I pre-order?

Can I set up an account?

Unfortunately, we don’t offer any trade accounts. Please take a look at our stockist page to find your closest supplier.

Do you deliver outside the UK?

No, as our items are perishable, we do not want to compromise the quality of our produce.

Can I order over the phone?

We would prefer you to order through our website, please give us a call if you need any guidance.

Can I cancel my order?

Do you accept returns?

Unfortunatley no, due to the nature of our fresh produce we cannot accept returns.

Can I eat if I am pregnant?

We advise checking with your doctor if you are unsure. Some of our Edible Flowers & Specialty leaves are unsuitable for women who are pregnant.

What do I do if I have found an insect?

This can happen from time to time, unfortunately, bugs do find their way into punnets. We advise removing the insect as soon as you see it and gently wash the leaves.

Are your punnets recyclable?

We are happy to say, yes, they are 100% recycled and recyclable. 

COVID

What COVID procedures do you have in place?

We have very strict procedures in place whereby all members of staff’s temperatures are taken before the start of every shift. We are all required to wear a face mask at all times and must adhere to a 2m distance wherever possible. All visitors and contractors must fill out our COVID questionnaire before their visit and must also adhere to the above precautions.
