Edible Flowers Pasta by Mark Fice

Edible Flowers Pasta

INGREDIENTS

  • 5 egg yolks
  • 120g type 00 flour or strong flour
  • Pinch of salt
  • Dash of olive oil
  • Handful of Westlands Herby Mix

METHOD

  1. Make a well in the flour
  2. Add eggs to the centre with a pinch of salt
  3. Gradually mix then knead until smooth
  4. Cling film and place in the fridge for 10mins
  5. Set the pasta roller on the thickest setting
  6. Gradually reduce after each roll, until down to the thinnest setting
  7. Cut the pasta into 2 sheets, scatter the Herby Mix and Westlands Edible Flowers over one sheet
  8. Press the 2nd sheet of pasta over the top and roll through the pasta roller
  9. Finally, cut the pasta into thick lengths and boil for 2 minutes
